The Smart Living Expo 2025 attracted over 3,500 visitors from across Regional Victoria and Melbourne, transforming Buninyong into a vibrant hub for green tourism and sustainable inspiration. A major drawcard was the striking Solar Flower installation, creating an iconic visual experience for day-trippers and families exploring the region. Visitors enjoyed energetic performances by Formidable Vegetable and expert insights from Tim Forcey of My Efficient Electric Home, alongside more than 100 sustainability exhibitors and hands-on demos. Now in its second decade, the Expo showcases Buninyong as a destination for eco-learning, community connection, and low-impact travel, encouraging visitors to stay, explore, and return.
