Formidable Vegetable

Shelter Stage - 11:40 & 14:20
Smarts Tent - 12:20 - FREE Action Heroes Workshop

Formidable Vegetable are a fresh harvest of hope in a wild and overgrown world.

Whether it’s performing at Glastonbury, delivering TEDx talks or shaking things up at the United Nations the band, hailing from Western Australia have something special and unique that the whole village will dig.

Whether equipped with a wheelbarrow load of tasty, dancefloor-igniting electro beets or stripped back to their live instrumentation (consisting of brass, strings and a ukulele), FoVeg plant seeds of inspiration at every festival, fair and community garden they perform at. Having toured to over 20 countries and with seven records under their belt, the band is paving the way for an entirely new kind of creative action for composting the problems of the world and growing abundant, community-scale solutions in their place.

Over the past decade, they have become a favourite around Australia and on international festival circuits, having played at some of the biggest events in the world (including the likes of Woodford Folk Festival, BOOM, Glastonbury, Electric Picnic, City of London Festival, Green Gathering and ViViD) alongside monumental acts such as Radiohead, Tame Impala, Dolly Parton and The Rolling Stones.

Albert The Second

Shelter Stage - 12:30

Hailing from Victoria's rugged South-West. Albert The Second delivers songs and stories with a laidback feel that come straight from the heart.

A big fan of DIY and keeping it simple, Albert enjoys writing and recording in his home studio nestled amongst the gum’s, on his farm in The Green Triangle, preferring to capture his music with a collection of analog mixers and old reel to reel tape recorders.

Alberts live show is an extension of his love for storytelling around a campfire with the added rumble of a vintage amp and the jangle of a well loved guitar.

In the spring of 2024 Albert The Second released his first self recorded/produced song called “Feeling Blue”. A simple acoustic track that is warmed by a story of love and the vibrato of a Fender Rhodes dancing in the background.  "Feeling Blue" was followed shortly after with another self recorded/produced release in December 2024, which is Alberts fresh take on the timely classic Summertime written by Ira Gershwin & DuBose Heyward.

2025 brings fresh music, new tours and a good time for Albert The Second. Stay tuned.
